Slow Thursday

Pooches, it’s Thursday and that meant another academic pursuit day for my manservant.  We had stayed up until the early hours of this morning waiting for my womanservant’s flight to return from “the place that shall not be named” and decided to “sleep in” this morning.  My manservant didn’t go on his walk/run as usual because of the lack of time before his class began at his alma mater.  He did finally prepare a fine breakfast of blueberry pancakes with bacon which we enjoyed at our picnic bench before he headed to his alma mater for class.

He finally returned in the middle of the afternoon after a stop at his fish monger’s place of business to acquire redfish for our dinner tonight.  I could tell he was not in the mood for an excursion but Starlight and I insisted.  The Hybridmobile was boarded and I decided my school park was an appropriate destination because it was my manservant’s “school day” and the Hybridmobile determinedly headed in that direction.

There was no breeze to speak of and my Rez was smooth as glass.  Starlight and I sniffed heartily but the smells were few and far between.  Because the weather had decided to return to more winter-like conditions after a few days of spring, we agreed that a fire in our fireplace would be a nice end to the afternoon.

We’re back at our den now and, after having enjoyed a fine dinner, are lounging in front of the toasty fire.  Goodnight, pooches.

Sunshine

Starting the day off with blueberry pancakes and bacon at the picnic bench is a good thing.

Awww! Some wee pup must have lost its ball.

Sunshine, didn't you say the rule is that no tree must be left unsniffed?

Sunshine, I think I see a 'gator.

Sunshine, do you think we’ll ever see Juan the one-legged goose again?

It is a dull day at my school park, Starlight.
