Pooches, there has been much excitement around our den this morning. My womanservant and Starlight are leaving this afternoon for the agility trial in a distant village on the coast and Starlight busied herself packing. My manservant has conflicting obligations today and tomorrow as he starts his new academic pursuit at his alma mater and has his weekend academic responsibilities. Because of the conflict, he has decided to tend to his academic pursuit tonight at his alma mater and carry out his academic responsibilities tomorrow. As a result, I will be home alone most of the weekend. I’m sure the quiet time will do me good.
My manservant completed his early morning walk/run in dense fog before returning to our den and preparing a fine breakfast which we enjoyed at our picnic bench. Because he has much work to complete before leaving me alone he suggested that we have a quick excursion before the start of his yoga class.
The Hybridmobile purred down the lane and dropped us off at my boat ramp park which adjoins my school park. Pooches, there was a new informational sign that had been erected which Sunshine and I enjoyed reading. From the new sign we headed to the waterfront and enjoyed spotting geese in the fog. There were plenty of smells available and they were all appropriately sniffed.
Pooches, we are back at our den and Starlight is checking her luggage for the umpteenth time to make sure she didn’t forget anything while packing.
Since I am going it alone this weekend, Silent Saturday might have to be a selfie!
