Pooches, my manservant proclaimed today to be a day of rest and recovery after his marathon leaf-gathering session yesterday. He did find the energy to go on his morning walk/run, although he reported that it was a rather leisurely walk/run. Because my womanservant and Starlight planned to head to a far away village for a long weekend of agility trials, my manservant suggested in mid-morning that we go ahead and depart for an excursion. We had stopped at the market briefly on our way to my overlook for an excursion when my manservant received word that the planned road trip was going to be delayed for a day. Starlight was quite crestfallen but my manservant and I did everything we could to cheer her while the Hybridmobile purred to my overlook.
The weather continues to be warm and no jackets were necessary when we reached my overlook. As usual, Starlight and I had a grand time sniffing, first in the forest at the top followed by the waterfront at the bottom. Starlight soon cast her disappointment aside and cheerfully scurried around my park. After all scents had been inspected, my manservant urged us back to the Hybridmobile because lunch was looming.
Pooches, as warm as it is outside we will probably cut our afternoon naps short in order to have some quality outside time before it gets dark.
