Pooches, excuse me for disturbing your peace on what is normally a Wordless Wednesday but I’ve got BIG news! After his still dark walk/run in his walk/run park this morning, my manservant returned to our den just before sunrise and immediately began work in our back yard on leaf-gathering. Throughout the morning Starlight or I would look outside and see the leaf-gathering tools nearly a blur as my manservant was determined to finish this onerous task once and for all.
It was well past lunchtime when my manservant finally staggered inside and crawled in a hot tub. After soaking for some time, he headed to the kitchen and announced that all leaf-gathering activity in the back yard had concluded for the season and we were going to have a celebratory lunch at our picnic bench. Hooray!
Starlight and I were soon were gathered ’round the picnic bench enjoying ham while my manservant munched on veggie spring rolls and a green salad. My manservant announced that as soon as lunch was over he would gladly give us a guided tour of our leaf free yard. Starlight and I were anxious to get to our afternoon naps but tried to sound excited about the upcoming tour.
As promised, my manservant proudly walked us around the back yard with occasional stops to give an educational talk about the technical aspects of leaf-gathering. The tour has been completed and Starlight and I are nap bound.
Now if he’ll just finish gathering leaves from the front yard.
