Pooches, our pack was a tired pack this morning. Fierce thunderstorms visited us in the middle of the night and I was awake reassuring my manservant and Starlight for over two hours. The thunderstorms also brought the return of cold weather with gusty winds, forcing my manservant to cancel his plans for leaf gathering today. We decided another day lounging about in the comfort of our den wasn’t a bad idea as long as we undertook an excursion.
Our excursion commenced in late morning. My manservant said he planned to cook boeuf stroganoff for lunch and it would be best consumed at our den. Starlight and I hopped in the Hybridmobile and it hummed down the carriageway. Because my school park was in a location that would give us partial protection from the cold north wind we decided that it was the proper destination for today.
Surprisingly, pooches, after the heavy rain last night there were still plenty of smells awaiting Starlight and me. After much sniffing and frolicking, we returned to the warmth of the Hybridmobile, eagerly awaiting my manservant’s preparation of boeuf stroganoff.
Merry 5th day of Christmas, pooches!
