Pooches, we were socked in this morning with fog and my manservant decided to spend extra time in bed rather than go on his walk/run. After sufficient coffee had been consumed, my manservant suggested that we take an early excursion because rain was once again prognosticated.
After boarding the Hybridmobile and making a brief stop at the delicatessen to obtain a wee bit of breakfast, we smoothly glided to my school park. Rain started falling as soon as we arrived. The Hybridmobile decided to ferry us to my peninsula park but rain started there too. The Hybridmobile decided to cross the spillway which was encased in heavy fog. Bleating its horn repeatedly (“to warm other nearby vessels”) we crossed to the other side but the rain was following us. Frustrated, the Hybridmobile sped to our default park and parked in the rain. Breakfast was enjoyed in the Hybridmobile’s boot and by the time we finished eating the rain was quite light. A two-minute stroll was completed before the heavier rain returned.
We returned to our den where my manservant went about his wash day duties that had been neglected yesterday. When we began thinking about lunch, a quick scan of the icebox revealed a pot of coleslaw. My manservant immediately said that a bit of catfish and hushpuppies would be the perfect match. He headed to the market, acquired catfish, returned to our den, and the rest is history. Yum!
