Pooches, the prognosticators said this morning that we will have thunderstorms with copious amounts of rain later today so my manservant headed out on his walk/run earlier than usual. After checking the weather radar, his return was marked by a bevy of outdoor duties, including a brief attempt at leaf gathering. The gusty winds made short work of that duty and he came inside to begin his Monday wash day responsibilities. After re-checking the weather radar, I urged my manservant to head to the Hybridmobile to begin our excursion. Breakfast was packed and the Hybridmobile purred to my Trace while nervously looking at the threatening skies.
Our excursion destination was my little park to the north of my overlook. We begin by having a breakfast picnic in the boot of the Hybridmobile. Once finished, we hopped out and began scurrying around the waterfront. The continued low water in my Rez provided the opportunity for us to investigate a newly-exposed beach area. Fun was had by all and we finally returned to the Hybridmobile for our return trip to our den.
My manservant dutifully attended his yoga class and picked up pork chops at the market on his return. The chops were skillfully prepared by my manservant, along with gravy and potatoes, and a merry picnic was held at our picnic bench. As we finished lunch a few raindrops began falling and we moseyed inside to begin an afternoon of napping and waiting for the storms to begin.
