Jacket time has arrived!

Pooches, it was quite frosty this morning and my manservant decided to eschew his walk/run park and head to his gym for his walk/run (combined with a wee bit of stationary velocipede riding).  He returned and said he was planning on taking it easy today in an effort to recuperate from his busy weekend of academic responsibilities.

Starlight and I were pleased to hear that ‘taking it easy’ did not mean we would go without an excursion.  Being Monday and a yoga day, after retrieving our jackets from storage we embarked on our excursion earlier as we usually do on yoga days.  Despite the cold it was such a beautiful morning that we unanimously agreed to head to my overlook for a bit of frosty bounding about!   The only incident worthy of note during our bounding along the waterfront was my finding a large white feather dropped by a winged visitor to my park.  I immediately recognized it as a fine accessory to my pink jacket and wore it proudly throughout our excursion!

We returned to our den in time for my manservant to head to his yoga class.  Our appetites had been sharpened by our early and active excursion and we were pleased to dine on leftover boeuf porterhouse, baked potato, and hickory grilled cabbage at our picnic bench.

It is good ol’ nap time now and we’re headed in that direction while my manservant performs a few Monday wash day duties.

Keep warm, pooches!

Because it was a wee bit nippy this morning, jackets were employed for the first time this season.

I'm afraid the heavy frost this morning was not good for my elephant ears.

I suppose it is time to head back to our den, Starlight.
