Mundane Monday

Pooches, it has been a rather dull day around our den.  When my manservant returned from his chilly walk/run this morning, he said he needed to begin academic preparation for his upcoming academic responsibilities this weekend but never made it to our library.  He was distracted by this and that and before he knew it our pre-yoga excursion was upon us.

We cheerily hopped in the Hybridmobile which purred smoothly to our standby park, my overlook.  Because it was still quite chilly, Starlight and I were encouraged to undertake a vigorous stroll around my park.  Near the shoreline we tried to exchange pleasantries with a great egret but it was apparently shy and flew away as we approached.

The only excitement occurred when we discovered a new beach that had been exposed because of the low water in my Rez.  Starlight and I immediately made our way to the beach and had a grand time exploring the abundant nautical smells along the length of the beach, a rare treat for us.

My manservant finally said he was hungry and needed something to eat before attending his yoga class.  We returned to the Hybridmobile which delivered us to our den in time to enjoy a pre-yoga brunch at our picnic bench.

Pooches, perhaps my manservant will finally make it to our library this afternoon!

Don't fly away Mr. Egret. We've come to talk.

No Starlight, I think it's too cold this morning to go wading.
