Day of rest (almost)

Pooches, what a weekend in had in Elvistown!  It was two days of partying and ‘hard living’ for us and we returned to our den after dark last night quite pooped.  We declared today to be a day of rest for us as we recover.  BTW, Fred and Buttons send their regard.

My manservant did complete his morning walk/run before returning to the den and joining Starlight and me in our resting activity.  His rest was intermingled with a few housekeeping chores before heading to his yoga class.  He returned from yoga at the usual time and decided a BLT salad was the menu for today’s lunch.  Starlight and I readily agreed but requested that he hold the L and T from ours!

Because resting was the aim of today we decided to forego our regular excursion and, instead, undertake a slow litter patrol around the poochhood.  The litter patrol was sorely needed because of an abundance of candy wrappers dropped by the wee ghouls on Halloween night.  We collected a bag full and had only patrolled less than half our poochhood.  Perhaps we’ll gather the remainder of the litter tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, pooches, my blog posts might be absent for a few days.  My manservant has announced that he is going off of the grid fully for a few days in order for us to be like Mirazu, Kikazaru, and Iwazaru, the three wise monkeys, who hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil!

Until then,

Sunshine

What do you mean "that's all the bacon"???

Starlight, this drought sure has put a damper on the smells around the poochhood.

Here's a candy wrapper you can place in our litter bag.

That's quite a bag of Halloween litter we collected on today's excursion.
