Pooches, a cold front is on its way and promises to bring us cooler temperatures and a wee bit of rain later today. My manservant, who slept late this morning before shunning his walk/run park and going to his strawberry walking park instead, returned and suggested that another early excursion was in order because of his continued preparation for his academic responsibilities this weekend. Nevertheless, he then headed to our library and continued his preparation.
In late morning he emerged and suggested that a short excursion was now in order. I chose my boat launch park as our destination and it wasn’t long before the Hybridmobile had gaily delivered us there. Starlight and I, as usual, bounded along the waterfront enjoying the many smells.
Our normal picnic lunch at our picnic bench was cancelled today because my manservant and Cousin Maggie’s manservant decided to dine at a Greek/Lebanese dining establishment in our village. When my manservant finally returned and headed to our library to resume his preparation activities, Starlight and I looked high and low for a pooch bag but found none. Drat!
I guess it will be all-afternoon nap time while we await the arrival of the cold front.
