Pooches, we’ve had a busy day at our den! My manservant departed early this morning in the dark for his walk/run park. It was an unusually long walk/run because he didn’t return until well after sunrise. Instead of coming indoors when he returned to our den, my manservant retrieved the lawn manicuring machine for one final lawn manicuring session of the season. When the work had been completed the manicuring machine was placed in its winter hibernation quarters and covered. The leaf gathering tools were then gathered and placed in ready position because the torturous four month-long leaf gathering season is just around the corner. My manservant groaned at the thought!
A wee bit of housekeeping was undertaken before my manservant suggested that we head for a morning excursion before yoga class. The Hybridmobile was boarded and it merrily glided down the lane to my Trace. We passed by the entrance of my overlook but the Hybridmobile quickly pulled off of the carriageway onto the banks of my Rez.
We had a grand time running to and fro along the waterfront and in sight of my overlook. The smells were plentiful. Several passing carriages tooted their horns and waved as they went by! It wasn’t too long before my manservant urged us back to the Hybridmobile as time for yoga class was approaching. As soon as we arrived at our den, Starlight and I quickly headed for naps.
When my manservant returned from yoga, he parked himself in the kitchen preparing our picnic lunch. It was quite the feast, pooches! We enjoyed lamb with mint jelly, baba ganouj with veggie sticks (we left those for my manservant), and a wee bit of boeuf which was strictly for us pooches! Woo hoo!! In a rare move, we had a piece of apple cake for dessert!
Starlight and I are getting ready to hit the bed for our afternoon naps while my manservant has headed out to perform a long list of errands.
