Pooches, my manservant has not been in the best of moods of late. We’ve had no excursions since last Tuesday until today. When he arose this morning he headed to his walk/run park for his usual early morning walk/run. Starlight and I took some hope in that and we were rewarded! When he returned to our den he said the weather was delightful and that we should undertake an early morning excursion. Pooches, the word is that a cold front is headed in our direction and the excitement abounds in our den! The promise of civil weather and an early excursion was good news!
Excitement filled the air as Starlight and I bounded toward the Hybridmobile. We were pleased that excursions would be resumed and we hopped in our seats, buckled up, and we were on our way. The Hybridmobile seemed to be excited as well and it gently carried us down the lane and onto the carriageway for our journey to my Saturday park.
Our excursion at my Saturday park was quite pleasant. A cool breeze was blowing off of my Rez and we enjoyed the signs of approaching relief from the heat of summer. We strolled along the waterfront and searched for ‘gators but only standoffish ducks were found. They were, apparently, in no mood to play with Starlight and me so we went about our business of sniffing the many scents and having a rousing good time of playing along the waterfront.
It was a good resumption of our strolls, pooches. Hopefully my secretary will be bit more responsible with his duties in the future.
