Two parks in one visit

Pooches, we’ve had a kind of slow day around our den.  My manservant dutifully completed his early morning walk/run and returned from his walk/run park to undertake the manicuring of our back yard.  After completing that task, he suggested an early excursion before his yoga class.  We were glad for the timing because the temperatures were still mild and we headed to the Hybridmobile.

Our pack has been keeping an eye on the construction of a new parking lot and another  section of multi-use trail next to my artsy-craftsy park for several weeks.  It has now been completed and the Hybridmobile was anxious to try it out.  The Hybridmobile headed down the lane in that direction.  When we arrived, the parking lot was empty and the Hybridmobile tried several parking spaces before finally selecting one.  We hopped out and headed onto the new section of multi-use trail.  After viewing a few sculptures on the lawn of the artsy-craftsy facility we walked through the woods to my adjacent sunken Trace park.  It is rather nice to be able to visit two of my parks on one visit!

As we were headed back to the Hybridmobile my manservant received a text message that notified him of the cancellation of his yoga class.  He feigned disappointment but seemed glad to be able to visit a couple of village nurseries in search of shrubs instead of attending his yoga class.

We’re finished with the shrub search and are now back at our den for an afternoon of napping.

Sunshine

Starlight, I've already claimed my artsy-craftsy park in my name!

To each his own, I always say.

There aren't any good smells today at your park, Sunshine.

This bottle tree puts ours to shame.

It's nice to have my sunken Trace park right next to my artsy-craftsy park.

Look, Sunshine, a shortcut back to the Hybridmobile.
