Terribly tardy Tuesday!

Pooches, what can I say?  I’ve been trying to post my blog all day but my manservant has been quite uncooperative and here it is almost Wordless Wednesday!  Nevertheless, I think I’ve just snuck under the wire and am able to still post on Tuesday.

My manservant had another vet visit this morning, this time to his eye vet, and finally returned to our den in late morning.  He was wearing dark spectacles and immediately closed the drapes and shutters in our den to keep our the bright SUNSHINE.  I questioned him about why he was having a harder time seeing AFTER he had been to the eye vet than before he went (seems to defeat the purpose of the visit, pooches) but he only grumbled and said it was normal.

Of course, our excursion was delayed because he said that he couldn’t venture out in the bright SUNSHINE until the drops that had been placed in his peepers wore off.  Starlight and I grumbled because we knew that rain was heading our way but my manservant was insistent.  About the time his peepers recovered the thunder roared and, instead of heading out on our excursion in the Hybridmobile, we found ourselves huddled on the Davenport as I consoled Starlight and my manservant assuring them that everything would be okay.

A break in the rain finally arrived and much-needed back yard activity was undertaken.  Pooches, we don’t care for  walking in wet grass but no other option was offered.  Starlight and I explored the back yard while my manservant remained huddled in the dry den.  The good news is that the scents, despite the rain, were exceptional.  The bad news is that our paws got quite wet.

Tomorrow I’M taking over the scheduling of our activities!

We don't like to walk in the grass when it is wet.

Even though it's wet there are a good number of scents out here.

I'm ready to go back inside when you get through playing with your camera.
