Pooches, after my manservant returned this morning from his walk/run he suggested that we continue taking early excursions to avoid the heat of the day. There’s no doubt that it is summertime in these parts as the abundant SUNSHINE gets the temperature on the rise early in the day. After flirting with a bit of housekeeping chores, my manservant said excursion time had arrived and Starlight and I headed to the Hybridmobile and instructed it to turn its air conditioner to its coolest setting.
A joyous ride ensued as the Hybridmobile glided down the lane in route to my overlook. Pooches, it was a fine morning at my overlook and we were grateful for my manservant’s suggestion to undertake our excursion early as the heat was already building. When we finally decided to return to our den I asked the Hybridmobile to stop at my sunken Trace park because I had spied suspicious activity there on our way to my overlook. The stop was made and to our surprise a walkway was finally being constructed to the artsy-craftsy enterprise that adjoins my sunken Trace. I, of course, gave it a thorough inspection and, after seeing everything was being done properly, I complimented the gentlemen on their fine work and urged them to continue in that manner.
After donning his yoga costume my manservant was soon headed to his Monday yoga class. When he returned, after a bit of work preparing lunch, we headed to our picnic bench and enjoyed a lunch of red beans and rice (my manservant also ate a bit of salad).
It’ll be afternoon naps for our pack while the heat continues unabated.
