Pooches, it has been a long week of errand-running for our pack. After my manservant’s early morning visit to his walk/run park for his walk/run, he returned to our den and began writing a list of errands that needed to be done today. Being still in charge of our den, I told him that an excursion must be included on his list of whatever!
The housekeepers my manservant has engaged to perform many of his den responsibilities arrived in mid-morning. After introductions had been made, my manservant told them that we were off run errands and undertake an excursion. Woo hoo! We departed in the Hybridmobile leaving them to carry on their responsibilities.
Starlight and I cheered when the Hybridmobile headed in the direction of the pooch food store. We had a grand time browsing the aisles and dreaming of how the wide variety of pooch treats must taste. My manservant selected boxes of our customary dinner fare and we glided away in the Hybridmobile to run more errands.
When the errands had all been run, I instructed the Hybridmobile to head to my much-neglected overlook for a long sniffing expedition. The scents were widespread and we had a grand time trotting about my overlook in search of new and unusual scents. Starlight and I finally agreed that the rising heat of the day was starting to affect our sense of smell and decided to head back to our den for lunch.
My manservant headed to the kitchen for lunch preparation when we arrived. Pooches, in a nod to his time as a wee pup long ago, we soon were at our picnic bench eating beans and wieners, a dish that is new to Starlight and me. My manservant said probably the last time he had eaten it was fifty years ago. Preferring boeuf tenderloin, Starlight said she would agree to eat beans and wieners again in fifty years.
See you tomorrow on Silent Saturday, pooches!
