Maggie’s flowerbeds excursion

Pooches, after going all week last week without an excursion I was determined to make my manservant take us somewhere today.  The morning started out promising because my manservant headed to his walk/run park, something he had neglected to do last week.  His return to our den was marked by an hour or so of yard work before he departed for his yoga class (something else he neglected last week).

Lunchtime found my manservant in the kitchen preparing loaded twice-baked potatoes filled with plenty of cheese, onions, and leftover filet of boeuf!  Woo hoo!  It wasn’t long before we joyously paraded out to the picnic bench for our lunch.  Starlight was worried about the hot potatoes burning her lips but my manservant had foreseen the problem and cleverly reserved some the of the filet of boeuf separately for us pooches!  Woo hoo!

After lunch my manservant said he had to run an errand in the concrete jungle to let Cousin Maggie outside in the fresh air for a while.  I immediately suggested that we combine that duty with our excursion.  My manservant agreed to the arrangement.  It was a short time later that we were enjoying touring Maggie’s flowerbeds and enjoying spending a bit of time with Cousin Maggie.

Pooches, hopefully the excursions will continue through the week.

We're waiting on the 'alright' command so we can have our first bite of boeuf.

Your potato looks tasty but I'll bet my boeuf is tastier!

Why don't our flowerbeds look like Maggie's?

You'd better go back to our den and get started working on ours.
