Eating, eating and eating

Happy Monday, pooches!  Fred and Buttons arrived at our den Saturday on schedule for a long visit while their parents are visiting Sin City.  Starlight and I have been in entertainment mode making sure their visit is an enjoyable one.

My manservant headed out for his usual walk/run this morning.  When he returned Starlight and I escorted our guests out in the back yard for a morning of play until a wee rain shower forced us indoors.  My manservant saw our predicament and headed to the kitchen to pop a huge bowl of popcorn for us to munch on while we watched animal shows on the television.

After attending his yoga class, my manservant once again headed to the kitchen, grabbed a wok, and in a short time had a steaming plate of boeuf with stir fried vegetables and rice. Because the rain shower had passed, I told Fred and Buttons that it was the custom in our den to dine for lunch at our picnic bench in the back yard.  They thought that was quite a novel idea and marched with us ceremoniously to said bench.

A jovial time was had by all as we munched on our lunch.  A bit of romping in the back yard followed our lunch before we were all ushered indoors to begin our afternoon naps.  Our entertainment plans for Fred and Buttons this afternoon include a grand squirrel chase!

Starlight and I are going to have to put our heads together after nap time because we are quickly running out of entertainment ideas for our guests!
