Me and my manservant

Pooches, so far we’ve had a quiet and lazy day at our den.  By the time my manservant returned from his walk/run this morning, Starlight had been escorted away by my womanservant who delivered Starlight to a day at her groomer’s.  My manservant and I decided we would take advantage of the unusual quiet in Starlight’s absence and make it a day of rest and cocooning.

In late morning, with Starlight still at her groomer’s, I was keen to enjoy an excursion without Starlight’s usual excessive barking and darting about and we decided to combine a trip to the market with an excursion.  After the necessary supplies were obtained from the market, the Hybridmobile delivered us to the infamous walk/run park.  Woo hoo!

Upon arrival at said park I immediately pointed my manservant in the direction of my creek and we had an enjoyable, albeit very short, stroll through the park.  The lack of shade caused my manservant to limit the stroll to a very short one and we were  soon back at our den preparing lunch.

Salmon salad stuffed lettuce leaves were soon piled onto a plate and we headed out to our picnic bench to enjoy them in yet another beautiful spring day.  We’re now awaiting the call clearing us to head to the groomer’s to retrieve Starlight.

Sunshine

It's just me and my manservant strolling through the walk/run park.

There's no doubt my overlook park is more conducive to contemplation!

There’s no doubt my overlook park is more conducive to contemplation than the walk/run park!

Starlight is going to be disappointed she missed lunch.
