Frantic Friday

Pooches, what a week this has been.  First, that horrible visit to my vet on Monday followed by two days of recovery.  Thunderstorm Thursday followed.  Today, my manservant has been scurrying around frantically trying to get everything done to be prepared for his academic responsibilities this weekend.  After tending to his walk/run at his walk/run park he buried himself in our library from where Starlight and I heard grumbling all morning as lessons plans were consulted and our stubborn printer was being fractious and refusing to quickly print the needed handouts for the pupils.  My manservant dismissed his yoga class because of time limitations and hurriedly dashed away to attend important errands, including getting an oil transfusion for the Hybridmobile and assorted new light bulbs.  When the Hybridmobile returned to our den it was quite proud!

When lunchtime approached he inspected the icebox, and, finding it empty, urged Starlight and me to hurry to the Hybridmobile for a quick excursion.  The Hybridmobile boastfully glided to a dining establishment where a boeuf and melted cheese sandwich was obtained.  When we finally reached my sunken trace park we gleefully hopped in the Hybridmobile’s boot and enjoyed lunch.

Rushing about was still the order of the day and we were subjected to a hasty excursion around my park, enjoying prolific smells along the way in the limited amount of time we were allotted.  We’re back at our den now where my manservant continues his work.  I can tell that Starlight and I will be napping much of the weekend because my womanservant is headed to Elvistown for a weekend of fun and frivolity!

Thank goodness this week is over, pooches!  See you on Silent Saturday.

Starlight, the authorities have marked where the new walkway to the crafts shop is going to be built.

Gee, I hope this isn't poison ivy.

The walkway to my sunken trace is always dark on cloudy days.

My manservant apparently left the Hybridmobile's boot open after our lunch.
