It’s Spring Break!

Pooches, welcome to our Spring Break week!  My manservant started off the week with his routine walk/run at his walk/run park.  He returned and announced that he was going to take a break today from his ongoing spring cleaning of our den and, instead, begin a day of working in our back yard.  The lawn manicuring machine was removed from its seasonal retirement and began a morning of trimming the wild onions springing forth in our back yard.  As yoga time neared, my manservant hurried to finish his outdoor tasks before donning his yoga costume and rushing off in the Hybridmobile to his yoga class.

At lunchtime my manservant, who had been too busy all morning to prepare anything for lunch, went to the icebox and withdrew a hearty serving of deconstructed tenderloin boeuf shish-kabob and a baked potato with black truffle butter and chives!  Woo hoo!  As an extra-special treat he also pulled yesterday’s boeuf shawarma for Starlight and me.  Double woo hoo!!

After the necessary reheating was accomplished we marched out to our picnic bench in our newly manicured back yard and reveled  in our feast.  Upon finishing our lunch we loaded into the Hybridmobile to run a few errands before heading to my Trace for our excursion.  Pooches, we forgot it was spring break and were disappointed to see one after another of my parks filled to the brim with spring breakers!  My Hybridmobile knew just the spot to head and we soon were the sole spring breakers at my Indian mound park.  A grand stroll was made around my park and through the woods and we enjoyed an unbeatable day of spring weather!

Sunshine

I hope you enjoy your boeuf shish-kabob as much as we're enjoying our boeuf shawarma.

I wonder why these daffodils haven't bloomed.

Let's take this path and see where it goes.

Starlight, let’s take this path and see where it goes.

We always like to relax under my bois-d'arc tree.

I think you're having a problem with your exposure thing-a-ma-bob!
