Pooches, we’ve been awaiting the storms to arrive all day. Shortly after my manservant returned from his morning walk/run, I decided to look at the weather radar to see when the rain would arrive. Egad! The rain was rapidly coming our way and I began barking orders to my manservant, Starlight, and the Hybridmobile! We were soon hurriedly heading for an excursion in the Hybridmobile.
Starlight wanted to visit my pine grove park on my Trace but the Hybridmobile vetoed that idea because it was afraid it might become mired in the mud created by the heavy rain of late. We finally agreed to pay a visit to my overlook (it has a paved parking area) because it has been a number of days since we visited it.
We arrived and headed down the slippery path toward the shoreline. Earlier rains had washed away most of the smells but Starlight and I had a grand time running to and fro along the waterfront. It wasn’t long before it became obvious that rain was imminent and my manservant urged us to board the Hybridmobile so we could stop at the market on our way back to the den before the rain arrived. Pooches, it arrived early. My manservant got quite wet.
We’re back at our den hunkered down for the afternoon storms. When thunder roars, stay indoors!
