Pooches, the fine weather has returned and Starlight and I awoke with expectations of a fine excursion today! My manservant quickly headed to his walk/run park for his walk/run. When he returned he headed to our library for, according to him, ‘a day of reading’.
It was mid-morning when he emerged and said he had several errands to run about the village and suggested that Starlight and I accompany him and we could take an excursion upon their completion.
Pooches, seven! That is how many business concerns in our village we had to visit to complete the errands. By the fourth stop the Hybridmobile was beginning to grumble. Starlight and I were back seat worn two hours later when the Hybridmobile finally made its way to my peninsula park for our excursion. It felt good to finally get out of the Hybridmobile and stretch our legs! Pooches, a strong wind was blowing off of the water causing my manservant to stagger trying to keep his balance as we strolled about. The wind had long since blown away any lurking scents so Starlight and I just enjoyed the view and fresh air.
A lunch of quinoa-stuffed peppers was prepared on our return to our den which we enjoyed on our picnic bench (Starlight and I opted for pooch treats with just a wee bit of quinoa).
Following our afternoon naps Starlight and I plan to frolic in our somewhat soggy back yard for a bit. Of course tonight we will be glued to the telly watching Westminster! Go terriers!
