Celebration Monday!

Pooches, Starlight and I were quite tired this morning from our busy weekend at the beach and decided we would declare it a rest and recovery day.  My manservant would have none of it!  He hurried off in the dark for a walk/run in his walk/run park.  When he returned he immediately grabbed the leaf capture tools from storage and spent the morning performing the final leaf gathering session of the season! He finished just in time to don his yoga costume and travel to his late morning yoga class.

When he returned he noted that we were late starting our Mardi Gras activities this year and we should begin today.  Woo hoo!  Starlight and I decided to shelve our rest and recovery day until tomorrow and we gleefully headed out to our picnic bench to launch our celebration of Mardi Gras and the end of leaf gathering for the season.  We pointed out to my manservant that it was overdue for us to get our turn at eating from the bench rather than the ground.  When everyone was properly placed we chowed down on seafood gumbo!  Woo hoo!

The weather has been spring-like today and the Hybridmobile was in the mood to head to my pine grove park for our excursion.  A fine and lengthy stroll was undertaken along the waterfront and we basked in the SUNSHINE and warm temperatures!

Laissz les Bons Temps Rouler!!!

Sunshine

Because we're eating from the picnic bench and you're eating on the ground you can't start eating until we give the 'alright' command!

It is important for me to keep and eye out for 'gators when I'm at Sunshine's Rez.
