Pooches, my manservant finally resumed his morning walk/run this morning at his walk/run park, albeit it was an abbreviated one. He said it was a fine foggy morning for a walk/run but that he had to cut it short in order to get to his new academic endeavor at his alma mater on time. Knowing from our experience of missing excursions the last time he undertook an academic endeavor, I questioned him about his intentions for an excursion today. He promised we would go on an excursion when he returned if the weather cooperated. I looked at the weather prognosticator’s forecast for our fair village and things didn’t look good!
A short time after my manservant had departed for class, the first clap of thunder rumbled through our den. Pooches, my paws were full for the next half hour consoling Starlight and reassuring her that everything would be okay (she is quite afraid of thunder). She finally calmed down after thunder and heavy rain had departed.
When my manservant returned to our den from his alma mater, Starlight and I immediately headed toward the Hybridmobile. The rain had stopped but we were still socked in with thick fog. The Hybridmobile headed down the lane and onto the carriageway with the destination of my overlook in mind. A brief stop at a local concern allowed us to acquire a boeuf hot dog for lunch.
My overlook was quite foggy and a chilly wind was blowing off the water of my Rez sending the fog onshore. After a quick stroll about my park we headed to the boot of the Hybridmobile to enjoy our hot dog. As we were finishing our picnic in the boot the rain returned sending us scurrying to get hooked in our seat belts for the return to our den.
Pooches, the rain continues off and on through the ever-present thick fog. I daresay it is an afternoon of napping until the weather improves!
