Fine Friday excursion.

Pooches, we had a rather lazy morning in our den.  My manservant headed to his walk/run park but reported that he changed his mind after starting and only did a portion of his usual walk/run. When he returned to our den he busied himself puttering around but didn’t accomplish much that I could tell.  I think that all of the things he had on his “to-do” list  went undone except for his yoga class.

As is often his custom, a stop at the deli was made on his return from yoga which yielded a green salad and bowl of chili.  Instead of heading our to our picnic bench, my manservant said it was too pretty of a day not to have a picnic and an excursion.  Starlight and I excitedly hopped in the Hybridmobile.  We enjoyed the pretty fall day as we were being transported to my overlook.

The first order of business after our arrival at my overlook was lunch.  Pooches, my manservant had finally cleaned out the Hybridmobile’s boot of all of his junk and it was spacious!  Certainly a more comfortable spot in which to have our picnic lunch.  My manservant munched on his green salad while Starlight and I focused on the chili.  Our lunch was interrupted a couple of times when tourists came up to me to comment on my good looks.  Of course, Starlight thought they were talking about her.

Our after lunch stroll was a fine affair.  There were plenty of scents to keep us occupied sniffing interspersed with times of pausing and taking in the fine fall day.

See you tomorrow on Silent Saturday, pooches!

Chili and green salad fits the bill for a tip-top lunch on our excursion.

Because my manservant made us face the sun, we are forced to squint during our after lunch photo-op.

Searching for alligators in the water instead of paying attention to where she is walking, Starlight collides with me on our stroll.

Sunshine, why are all the best smells always at water's edge?

I think I'd like to have a new den for us built at my overlook so this could be my backyard.
