Pooches, this morning my manservant claimed he had much to do today and declined to attend to his morning walk/run. Instead, he squirreled himself away in our library to whittle away at his long “to do” list. Starlight and I had a morning of fun with Cousin Maggie. Our play was restricted to indoors because of the wet and muddy back yard.
My manservant did run an errand to acquire a new pair of yoga pants which he donned prior to attending his yoga class. His return from yoga was marked by undertaking a project in our kitchen which involved emptying the countertops. Pooches, that project took far longer than expected and our excursion did not get underway until well past our normal excursion time.
We finally hopped in the Hybridmobile and, because Maggie was in tow, I claimed shotgun for myself. The Hybridmobile headed to my overlook park. The chilly and overcast weather must have kept many indoors because we had my overlook park to ourselves.
A long stroll to the waterfront was interspersed with numerous smells along the way. I was quite proud of Maggie’s sniffing technique in tandem with Starlight and me (which is surprising since she is an only pooch in her den).
My manservant eventually reminded us that he still had many things on his “to do” list and insisted that we return to our den. After not napping all morning, I suspect we pooches will spend plenty of time this afternoon in slumber.
