Pooches, it was a customary walk/run this morning but undertaken in the dark. As has happened on other days this week, my manservant headed out in the wee hours in an effort to get started on the upstairs painting project as early as possible. As soon as he returned from his walk/run he headed upstairs and began painting away while Starlight and I enjoyed our morning naps.
It was noon when my manservant descended the steps declared his work done for the day and busily washed brushes and rollers. While he was preparing our excursion lunch (a redfish sandwich on whole wheat) he told us that most of the painting was finished except for touch-up work and tomorrow he would be attaching hardware to cabinet doors and hanging them. Starlight and I cheered, relieved to know that our excursion wouldn’t be interrupted any more by the painting project.
We soon boarded the Hybridmobile which glided down the carriageway and took us to my pine grove park! There was a wonderful breeze coming off of the water which made for pleasant strolling after our lunch had been consumed in the boot of the Hybridmobile.
Pooches, tomorrow’s weather is predicted to be spectacular which I predict will result in a lengthy hike through the woods along my Trace! Woo hoo! See you on Silent Saturday.
