Pooches, it has been an exciting day and I thought I’d break silence on this
My womanservant left early with Starlight and headed to a wee village near the Big Easy for coursing ability tests for the weekend. Pooches, Starlight had practiced all week by pretending our numerous squirrels were lures! I’m sure she’ll do quite well.
My manservant completed his walk/run this morning and returned to do yard work for much of the morning. He explained he wasn’t going to touch a paint brush or think about paint all weekend. Upon completion of his gardening duties, he built a fire in his grill and we lounged about on the picnic bench while barbecue chicken was cooking! Woo hoo! A hearty meal of the chicken with sausage baked beans was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my manservant!
It wasn’t long after lunch that Cousin Maggie arrived with her manservant. We hopped in her carriage and glided north to my horse carriage parking lot on my Trace and headed south on the hiking trail. Maggie and I covered many smells on our two-hour hike, leaving us a bit winded when all was said and done!
It is late afternoon now and I haven’t even started my afternoon nap! What a busy day I’ve had.
