Pooches, my manservant was up early this morning and, instead of heading out for his usual walk/run, headed upstairs for the resumption of his painting duties. I immediately charged upstairs and confronted him about an excursion today. He stammered a bit until he saw the look in my eyes and immediately promised that an excursion would take place. As regrettable as it is, pooches, sometimes you have to be stern with your servants!
Starlight and I enjoyed a long morning nap while the painting was taking place. At excursion time I headed upstairs once again and announced that it was time to depart. He seemed more than pleased to put away the brushes and rollers and we all headed to the Hybridmobile.
As we were riding down the lane I realized lunch had not been prepared. I commented to my manservant and he said he had plans. He directed the Hybridmobile to stop by the quaint food emporium in our village. Pooches, we rarely go there! My manservant ventured inside and soon emerged with an armload of goodies! Among them were tamales which my manservant said were for lunch at our den after our excursion.
My log cabin park was our destination for the day and Starlight and I had a marvelous time sniffing through the leaves covering the ground. After a short stroll on my multi-use trail we thought of the tamales and decided we had excursioned enough for the day!
