Pooches, as soon as my manservant returned from his morning walk/run, he headed upstairs to get underway on his painting project. Starlight and I would occasionally check on his progress (very slow, pooches) during the morning. Loud music blared from his radio during his efforts (he said that’s what REAL painters do).
Late morning rolled around and he came downstairs and donned his yoga costume and left in the Hybridmobile to attend his yoga class. Starlight and I both commented that we had never seen him so excited and pleased to go to yoga class!
When he returned from yoga, my manservant suggested that the resumption of painting could wait and we could go ahead and undertake an excursion. Hooray! My manservant placed a call to his favorite local burger concern and ordered a fully dressed burger with curly fries! Woo hoo!! As the Hybridmobile glided us to obtain said burger and fries I commented that he didn’t make a very healthy menu selection. His logic was that he was planning a meal consisting of tofu, quinoa, and butternut squash to showcase his culinary talents tonight and, therefore, a healthy meal at lunch would nutritionally unbalanced. It made sense to me and Starlight and I looked forward to the burger and fries without guilt!
We first stopped at my boundary park but the picnic tables were occupied so the Hybridmobile ferried us to my rarely visited secret park. The tablecloth was spread on the ground and we enjoyed a tasty lunch, although my manservant complained about lukewarm and soggy fries, promising to have a word with the proprietor on his next visit.
The water level in my Rez continues to be unusually low due to the current drought. We were able to climb down and stroll along the area that is usually underwater. The smells were quite different from those we are used to and we had a great deal of fun trying to guess what sort of creatures had left them!
I guess it is back to painting for my manservant this afternoon while Starlight and I nap!
