Pooches, expecting no workers for the first time this week my manservant resumed his morning walk/run. Starlight and I busied ourselves playing with Maggie while he was away until we had to insist that she go to her crate because it was time for morning naps.
We were awakened from our naps by loud noises coming from upstairs. Starlight and I bounded upstairs and we found my manservant busy with some of his own renovations. We urged him to work quietly so as not to disturb our guest Maggie’s morning nap. Such urging was not needed because he soon tired of the project and returned downstairs for a bit of puttering around.
I was anxious to get started on our excursion today so I could show Maggie all of my holdings. My manservant said we should treat Maggie to a picnic on our picnic bench before undertaking an excursion. When the noonday meal had been prepared we urged Maggie to head out to the picnic bench where we enjoyed pork chop and green peas.
Because we were a pooch seat belt short for our excursion, I buckled Maggie and Starlight in the back seat and decided to ride shotgun! Woo hoo! The Hybridmobile frowned on my decision and crept down the lane. Pooches, it took forever at such a slow speed to get to my school park. After everyone had been unbuckled and attached to leases, we all headed down to the waterfront so I could point out all of my parks to Maggie. She was quite impressed by my holdings.
My manservant said another worker was due to arrive in early to mid-afternoon to provide an estimate on yet more work to be done on our den! He finally persuaded us to return to the Hybridmobile for our journey back to our den.
Starlight and Maggie are fast asleep now and I’m headed in that direction.
