Discombobulated day!

Pooches, my manservant left for his walk/run this morning while it was dark outside in order to be at home when a work crew arrived for repairs to our den.  The weather made it a day to be inside because of a persistent spitting rain outside.  It was enough to make the grass wet but did nothing to relieve our drought.

When my manservant returned and the workers arrived, Starlight and I figured we would have a busy day of barking at them but my manservant would have none of it.  We were locked away in our rooms and had no choice but to begin our naps.

It was mid-morning when the fearsome loud and continuous noises began!  Our den fairly shook they were so loud and frightened Starlight and my manservant terribly!  I finally calmed them down and urged the to head for the Hybridmobile and begin an excursion.

The Hybridmobile made its way to my boat launch at my Rez where I was able to take their mind off of the loud noises at our den.  We had a grand time sniffing and chasing ducks and geese.  After a visit to the market for lunch and dinner supplies we returned to our den where the excessively noisy activity was still underway.  After a quick lunch inside (our picnic bench was wet from the rain) of clam chowder and a ham and swiss sandwich, we sought the safety of outdoors to escape the loud noises.

Pooches, it looks like we’re going to be out here all afternoon!

It's Harry the Heron flying by!

Look, it’s Harry the Heron flying by!

I'll bet those ducks are on their way to see Harry.
