Pooches, another early morning excursion was made today shortly after my manservant returned from his walk/run park! He announced to Starlight and me that he had much work to do our library before this upcoming first weekend of his academic responsibilities for the semester. In addition, my manservant said he had to journey into the nearby concrete jungle to carry out some of his duties and to conduct a business transaction.
Starlight and I were relieved that an early excursion was on the agenda because the cool weather of the past week is starting to wane and is being replaced by warmer temperatures. Nevertheless, it was still cool as we departed in the Hybridmobile for a long sniffing stroll from my sunken Trace park to my old school park. We traveled via my multi-use trail along my Trace and had quite the time sniffing and chasing bugs while my manservant scanned the trees for muscadines which are starting to ripen. Our arrival at my old school park was marked by an about-face and a return to my sunken Trace park.
When we returned to our den, my manservant dropped us off and headed into the concrete jungle. In less than two hours that he returned with redfish fillets obtained from our fish monger in the concrete jungle and a hamburger and curly fries obtained from a Greek eating establishment in our village! Woo hoo! We quickly paraded out to our picnic bench and chowed down on said burger and fries.
It is our afternoon nap time now and my manservant is busily working in our library. Starlight and I will be dreaming about our upcoming redfish banquet this evening.
