Pooches, my womanservant and Starlight departed our den this morning for a weekend of pooch obedience and rally trials! I immediately pointed out to my manservant that their absence from our pack did not mean that an excursion today was unnecessary.
After returning from his customary walk/run, my manservant returned to the confines of our library and resumed his work of yesterday setting up the computer equipment for his academic responsibilities. I stayed far away as the mutterings seemed to be a bit more intense than yesterday. He finally proclaimed that he had worked enough and was pausing his activity in order to attend his yoga class.
At excursion time we boarded the Hybridmobile which merrily took us to one of my parks that we don’t visit very often: my sunken Trace park. A BLT had been prepared before we departed our den and it was consumed very quickly (along with a bit of leftover sausage from breakfast for yours truly). It was quite crowded in the Hybridmobile’s boot because Drone has taken up residence there.
After lunch my manservant and I took a lengthy stroll around the ancient road and finally found our way into the deep woods where a lengthy exploration was undertaken.
Pooches, we arrived at our den to find that Starlight had performed admirably in her competition and was resting in order to be in top shape for tomorrow’s trials.
Speaking of tomorrow, I’ll see you tomorrow on Silent Saturday!
