Following an abbreviated walk/run early in the morning, my manservant spent most of the morning purchasing computer equipment for use in his upcoming academic responsibilities. When he finally returned to our den, Starlight and I assisted him in carrying the numerous boxes and stacking them in our library.
Pooches, while we were in the library, I glanced at the weather radar on my tablet and saw that much-needed rain was nearing our village. I quickly barked to my manservant and Starlight that we should undertake an excursion immediately. Starlight and I wasted no time and bounded out to the Hybridmobile and boarded it. Impatiently, we tapped our paws while my manservant dawdled about our den. The Hybridmobile bleated its horn a few times and my manservant finally made his way outside.
Given the short time we had before the rain should begin, we selected my overlook as our destination and the Hybridmobile rapidly glided along my Trace. A quick jaunt to the shoreline rewarded us with an abundance of smells. We spent all of our time sniffing (except for occasional barks at strangers by Starlight) and playing the in pine straw.
A distant clap of thunder ended our excursion prematurely as we sought the safety of the Hybridmobile. Starlight and I will be undertaking our afternoon naps while my manservant tries to figure out how to connect and use the equipment he acquired this morning. No doubt our naps will be disturbed by all of the grumbling coming from the library!
By the way, pooches, the rain never materialized.
