Finally! An exciting excursion.

Pooches, my manservant put on his thinking cap this afternoon before we went on a late excursion.  As we were headed to the Hybridmobile he lathered himself with sunscreen and put on his hat.  Woo hoo!  Starlight and I knew something out of the ordinary was before us.

We boarded the Hybridmobile and he requested that we go to my park below my spillway.  Yes, pooches!  It was a hike down the river beach, an excursion we haven’t had in over a year!

Our hike was accompanied by much banter among ourselves as we recalled the difficulty of hiking in loose, deep sand.  We hiked far out of view of the spillway and were soon in unexplored territory which Starlight and I both claimed in the name of our pack.

Fatigue finally overtook  us about the time we reached a large bluff which my manservant said was too steep to safely traverse.  We panted our way back to the Hybridmobile and, when we finally arrived at our den, drank copious amounts of water.

Pooches, it is good to finally have an exciting excursion again.

Sunshine

We have a long hike ahead of us Starlight.

Starlight, do you think my manservant would mind if we took a swim?

Sunshine, the trail gets quite narrow ahead. Mind the bluff.

I guess the trail ends here. It's too high to climb down.

Sunshine, these yellow flowers look to be in need of a wee bit of water.
