Flying high on Thursday

Pooches, when my manservant returned from his walk/run this morning he immediately asked Starlight and me to hop in the Hybridmobile and off we went!  Not having mentioned anything about an excursion and not hinting at where we were going, Starlight and I thought it must be a visit to the vet.  We worried while the Hybridmobile purred along.

Our worries proved needless because the Hybridmobile took us to the walk/run park.  Without releasing us from our seat belts my manservant opened the boot of the Hybridmobile and extracted his new toy:  a drone!!  He walked far away from the Hybridmobile and it was soon soaring high in the sky.  Starlight barked furiously at it in an attempt to bring it down and end the threat.  She was quite successful in her effort and after retrieving the crashed drone my manservant launched it again but refused to fly it near the Hybridmobile.  You can see a short video of Sunshine’s success here.

When we arrived back at our den I let my manservant know that little adventure was not going to substitute for an excursion today because Starlight and I had not been able to disembark from the Hybridmobile.  He shrugged his shoulders and said perhaps a short one after he returned from lunch with my womanservant.

He held true to his word and mid-afternoon found us bounding about my creek in the walk/run park.

What a day, pooches!

Starlight, it is nice to be able to have a late excursion and not be too hot.

Starlight, I think they're traps for very large birds...perhaps Pterodactyls!
