Fractured Friday.

Pooches, things have been rather disjointed at our den this morning.  My manservant headed out in the cool air this morning for his walk/run but when he returned he informed us he had an early morning mission of mercy in the not-so-nearby village and immediately departed in the Hybridmobile.  It was almost three hours later that he returned just in time to prepare breakfast before his yoga class.  We paraded outside to the ever popular picnic bench to enjoy a hasty dining experience of ham and egg before my manservant had to rush off to yoga class.

Starlight and I were convinced that the late hour of our breakfast would preclude a lunch picnic on our excursion and we were right….except for my manservant who selfishly acquired a kale and carrot smoothie to make amends for the earlier ham and egg breakfast.  Starlight and I looked hungrily at my manservant to no avail as he slurped his smoothie on the way to our excursion.  Pooches, Starlight and I have placed learning to use a straw on our bucket list!

The Hybridmobile faithfully ferried us to our rarely visited park on the north end of my Rez.  The last time we had visited it on an excursion was last winter when snow covered the ground.  As we traveled north on my Trace, Starlight said she hoped there might be a bit of snow still there but I assured her that was not going to be the case.

We had a grand stroll around my park when we arrived.  We paid special attention to the area around the boat launch because smells were abundant!  The absence of shade by the water finally convinced us it was time to head back to our den for a cool afternoon of napping.

It’s Friday, pooches!  See you tomorrow on Silent Saturday.

Sunshine

Another bit of ham please.

Sunshine, do you think he'll give us a ride in his boat after he launches it?

There are almost as many good smells at a boat launch as there are at a bait shop!

Starlight, my thoughts often turnn to the sea.
