Mundane Monday

There’s not much to report today, pooches.  My manservant did his usual early walk/run and suggested that we undertake a breakfast excursion because of the return of the heat wave.  Ham and biscuits were cooked and we hopped into the Hybridmobile for a ride to my pine grove park where we thought the heat might be less intense.

Breakfast was consumed in fine style on our picnic tablecloth spread over the pine needles in the shade.  We had a leisurely breakfast but my manservant said he had yoga class and that we’d better undertake our stroll pronto!  Pooches, the heat has all of the creatures seeking shelter and smells were few and far between.

We finally decided to hasten our departure in order for my manservant to get to his yoga class.

Starlight and I plan another ‘heat wave afternoon’ in the cool of our den.

Ham and biscuits with raspberry jelly is a nice way to start our breakfast excursion.

Starlight, I'll bet if there are any fish in my Rez they are already cooked!

What a tangle of roots that one tree makes.

Sunshine, head away from your manservant. I think he's ready to leave.

Don't forget to retrieve the picnic basket before we leave.
