We finally take a proper excursion!!

Pooches, as you know well excursions have been in short supply of late.  The blame can be laid directly at my manservant’s feet.  He says he has been preoccupied with “other matters.”  Humph!

Nevertheless, this morning at excursion time he suggested that we go check on my “Leaning Tree at my Overlook.”  We excitedly hopped in the Hybridmobile and anxiously awaited our arrival.  I was fully expecting to find that a tragedy had occurred and see my grand oak splashing about in the water.  Not so, pooches!  It is still holding on to terra firma. Woo hoo!

After this bit of good news our spirits were lightened and we had a jolly time strolling about the waterfront.  Our stomachs were soon growling and it was decided to head back to the den and have smoked salmon sandwiches on our picnic bench.

It was good to be back, pooches.

Sunshine

We're headed down by the water to check on my tree that is trying to jump in my Rez!

That's good to see, Starlight. It is still holding on tightly.
Hooray, Starlight!  It is still holding on.
My mind always returns to the sea when I come to the water's edge.

There are plenty of purple wildflowers blooming at my overlook today.

Today's lunch is smoked salmon with plenty of cream cheese, capers, and red onion on whole wheat. Yum!
