Pooches, wonders never cease! My manservant arose early this morning and after one cup of coffee in bed hopped up and began busying himself in my bedroom and our library. All of the activity was quite distracting to our continued sleep.
Soon, about the time Starlight and I were expecting our breakfast yogurt to be served, my manservant came into my bedroom and announced that it was excursion time! Starlight muttered that he must have lost his mind because the sun hadn’t come up yet. I figured it either had something to do with his plans for the day or that he had lost his mind. It turned out to be all about his plans for the day. He said he had many obligations for the day and he would be in the not-so-nearby-village at excursion time.
We hopped in the groggy Hybridmobile which sleepily sped to my overlook for our sunrise excursion. Pooches, the sun did rise but it was behind an overcast sky. My overlook was vacant at this early hour except for some fisher folks offshore in boats. The smells were particularly good today! I surmise that it is because it had been only a matter of minutes that the nocturnal visitors had returned to their hiding places for the day.
A stroll down my multi-use trail concluded our excursion for the day. We’re back at our den where my manservant is busily writing and reading in our library before his journey to the village.
