Woo hoo, pooches, spring arrives this afternoon!!
We awoke to a another dreary morning but none of us cared because we had plans in the works for a big celebration of spring. While Starlight and I planned our party, my manservant launched into a full morning of conducting spring cleaning so our den would be ready for the event.
All morning long it was dusting, wiping, scrubbing, Hoovering, and polishing. In late morning, my manservant headed to the market for more cleaning supplies and returned with the ingredients to cook spaghetti sauce, which he prepared in short order and had it simmering on the stove top while he returned for more cleaning activity.
He had started to slow down in his efforts when he announced it was time to eat. Hooray! Generous plates of spaghetti were distributed and we wasted no time in scarfing them down. Starlight struggled mightily with the strings of pasta and finally decided to stick with the meat sauce. The wee bit of conversation that occurred during our meal was me reminding my manservant that our pooch food supplies had dwindled to a critical level.
Following our meal we hopped in the Hybridmobile for a brief excursion before returning to spring cleaning. I instructed the Hybridmobile to first head for our pooch food store so we could restock.
After that important matter had been completed, the Hybridmobile delivered us to my school park where we had a grand time sniffing wildflowers and strolling about in the warm air. We didn’t linger too long because my manservant was anxious to return to his cleaning duties.
Pooches, join with me in giving springtime a rousing welcome!! Woo hoo!!
