Late excursion yields liver!

Pooches, it is another soggy, cloudy day around these parts.  It hasn’t rained much today (except for when my manservant was on his walk/run this morning!) but the prognosticators say it is on the way.

My manservant said our excursion would have to be a wee bit late today because he and my womanservant were dining in a newly opened establishment for lunch.  I let him know that Starlight and I expected a pooch bag with plenty of eats in it when he returned.

As soon as Starlight and I heard the Hybridmobile pull in the driveway we headed out to see what was for lunch.  Good news, pooches!  It was liver and onions!!  Woo hoo!  We quickly scarfed it down and congratulated my manservant on his good judgment.

It was then time for our excursion and the Hybridmobile headed to my overlook.  We perambulated around the upper park after our arrival and then headed to the waterfront.  Pooches, we were startled to see tragedy in the making!!  My tree at my shoreline had suffered the consequences of the never-ending rain and had begun to uproot itself in an attempt to dive in my Rez.  It was a frightening sight, pooches!  Starlight and I studied the situation and decided we must immediately alert the authorities so they could rectify they matter.  It provides the shade for our summer picnics!  We told my tree that we were going to get help and, in the meantime,  to hold on tight.

Pooches, the rain is rapidly approaching and Starlight and I have resigned ourselves to yet another afternoon  confined inside.  I guess we’ll nap.

Sunshine

What a pear!
What a pear!
Sunshine, look! It is another underground jail.

What am I going to do about my tree?! It's about to fall in my Rez!
What am I going to do about my tree?! It’s about to fall in my Rez!
I'd better go tell the authorities about my tree so they can fix it.
