Pooches, we’ve had a bit of a break from the rain today. My manservant, surprised at the absence of rain when he woke up this morning, headed to his walk/run park where he splashed through puddles during his exercise activity. We were so thrilled at the absence of rain (sadly, still no sun) that a brunch excursion was proposed! We all agreed it would be a nice change and our excursion could be completed before the next round of rain moved in later today.
My manservant headed to the kitchen where bangers and grits were cooked in in celebration at the resumption of a real excursion. Woo hoo! I told Starlight we still needed to take our filet of boeuf leftovers from a previous meal just in case my manservant was not in the mood to share his bangers.
The Hybridmobile delivered quite efficiently to my school park. With water everywhere we decided to dine bumpkin-style in the boot of the Hybridmobile, it being the driest spot around. The bangers and grits dish was delicious and it fortified us for our sniffing patrol around my park. We headed down the hill to the sound of eight paws and two feet squishing through the quagmire.
It was refreshing to get back to a normal excursion again. Keep your toes crossed for similar success tomorrow.
