Restful, rainy day.

Pooches, I’m tired of complaining about the weather so I’m only to say that to accompany our more spring-like temperatures that arrived this weekend the rain joined in.  Yesterday.  Today.  Tomorrow.  The next day.  And the next day.  Sheesh!

My manservant headed out for his early morning walk/run this morning and valiantly tried his walk/run park but the chilly rain convinced him to relocate to the gym.  His return to the den was marked by a proclamation of a day of rest.  It seems his weekend was quite busy with the symphony, his academic responsibilities, and other obligations yesterday.  He said his intention was to stay out of the rain and rest.

It was a lazy day pooches!  The rain took a break after our lunch of ham and pea soup.  We took advantage of the opportunity to stretch our legs by a short stroll around the poochhood.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings, pooches.  I’m afraid it will be more rain.

We headed out the front door during a brief break in the rain to stroll through the poochhood.

It sure is nice to stretch our legs a bit after being cooped up all morning.

We're at our favorite spot for sniffing.

Scurrying back to our den at a rapid pace when the rain picks back up.
