Ice Capades!

Pooches, this winter is the pits!  Yesterday’s threat of freezing rain came to fruition during the evening and we awoke this morning to an icy world.  It appeared that we were doomed to another day stuck in our den but my manservant insisted that an excursion was in order.  Hooray!

As excursion time arrived we all hopped into the Hybridmobile.  The Hybridmobile, however, was not quite so anxious to venture out in the icy weather.  It finally agreed to take us to a park but only if there was no bridge to cross on the journey.  Pooches, that left us with only one choice:  my manservant’s walk/run park.

Our excursion time was somewhat limited there because we couldn’t venture across the creek because the pawbridge was solid ice!  We did enjoy a wee bit of sniffing along the creek bank but the frigid air soon had us scurrying back to the Hybridmobile and quickly returned to our den in order to enjoy red beans and rice for lunch.

We’re spending another afternoon curled up in our den under some blankets.  Come on spring!

Sunshine

Sunshine, do you think this is the scent of a polar bear?

Our pawbridge is impassable.

Poor pine tree!
