A special day: welcome Maggie!!!!

Pooches, there was excitement in the air yesterday when we arose.  My manservant shared with us that he was going to attend his academic pursuit and then travel with a friend to a far away village to pick up Maggie, a 9-week old cousin of Starlight who is coming to reside in the city with our friend, her new manservant!!  Woo hoo!!

Starlight, of course, was quite excited at this development and busied herself dusting and cleaning our den for the arrival of her cousin.  We waited with anticipation for the arrival of our new friend (and cousin) on Friday.

Friday arrived and Starlight left this afternoon with my womanservant to attend an obedience trial and was not here when the Hybridmobile III glided into the driveway with said friend, my manservant, AND MAGGIE!!!  WOO HOO!  I ran out to meet them and heard from my manservant all about their trip:  the driving hundreds of miles through ice and sleet and snow and freezing rain.  I paid little attention to his recap because I was busy attending to Maggie and welcoming her to our land.

Pooches, Maggie is quite the little pup.  We have already invited her to come spend the day with us on Monday and introduce her to our excursions!  This is one little lucky pooch!!!

See you tomorrow on Silent Saturday, pooches!

Maggie plays in the snow after meeting her new manservant. She decided to wait to explain all of the rules to him for a later and more appropriate time.

When Maggie arrives at our den I welcome her to the pack.

I think she's going to fit in our pack just fine!

Okay. It is time to teach this wee pooch some manners!
There will, of course, be plenty of time to teach this wee pooch some manners!
This looks like something I can chew on.
