Pooches, we’re having one more spring-like day in these parts before the cold returns tonight. My manservant returned from his modified walk/run at his walk/run park this morning and said he was heading to a distant village in mid-morning to attend a Lebanese luncheon. He indicated that there probably would be no pooch bag accompanying him on his return but that we were welcome to enjoy some boeuf loaf that was in the icebox. Starlight and I agreed that this was a satisfactory arrangement and headed to retrieve said boeuf loaf as soon as my manservant departed in the Hybridmobile.
It was early afternoon that our excursion was planned. A cold front moved through the area in late morning bringing quite gusty winds with it. When my manservant returned we boarded the Hybridmobile which delivered us to my park in the corner of my Rez which we rarely visit. Pooches, it was hard to stand up against the hard winds coming off of the water. We had a grand time sniffing many unfamiliar scents until Starlight made us go out on the pier. I do not like piers! Nevertheless, I ventured out with the rest of the pack until a particularly strong gust made us all stumble. We immediately retreated to terra firma!
As usual, the remainder of our afternoon will be spent napping.
